The latest seasonal release "Shrok's Haunting" is now live in Etherscape with brand new maps, enemies, and rewards. Read on to learn about all the new content!

Enter the Graveyard 🪦

"Shrok's Haunting" is our first ever Halloween season event. Players will face a challenging new faction called the "Haunted" which is made up of new skeleton and ghost archetypes. These enemies will bring a new set of challenging abilities and mechanics for players to overcome. As players fight through the content, they will earn a new seasonal resource called "Haunted Essence" which will be used to craft custom on-chain limited rewards.

Using Haunted Keys you can enter the brand-new cemetery maps. These hand-crafted maps are full of new randomly spawning "events" that will add new challenge and a brand-new faction of enemies for you to defeat called the haunted.

The Haunted 👻

Get ready to face off against a challenging new faction of enemies called the Haunted. They include 6 new enemy types with different abilities and one dangerous new boss named Shrok! Check out the details below about these new undead foes...

Skeleton		Basic melee unity which has the leap ability.
Curse Skeleton		Similar to the Skeleton but releases a burst of high damage projectiles on death.
Blood Ghost		Ghost enemies that can become stealth.
Blood Wraith		Has an aura that regenerates health of nearby enemies.
Giant Skeleton		Casts Grave Dust ability and can summon a cage of bone walls.
Haunted Spire		Summons random haunted enemies.
Shrok		New Boss enemy with an arsenal of new skills.

Legendary Rewards ⚔️

Haunted cores are the key to earning rewards in the Shrok's Haunting event. Each one of them can be minted to earn a random item from the rewards pool. There will be a total of 850 Haunted Cores which matches with the 850 tokens in the reward pool.

There are 3 ways to get haunted cores:

Method	Desscription
Craft in-game	You can craft haunted essence into haunted cores in game. There will be a total of 300 cores available through this method. Each player can craft a maximum of 10. The resource cost to craft them increases with each time it is crafted.
​NFT.io Sale​	There will be a sale of 500 cores on NFT.io. The base sale price will be 20 ENJ per core.
Giveaways	50 cores will be held aside to give out to players as part of giveaways over the duration of the event.

Using Haunted Essence, you can forge your Haunted Cores into a random reward in game. These are the rewards that are up for grabs:

Key Crafting 🗝️

Along with this release the tinker has been upgraded with key crafting skills. You can now salvage faction keys in order to get key fragments. These fragments can be used to craft new custom quest keys that give a boost to your quests!

Along with that, tinkers will be able to craft Haunted Keys during the event to open up more access to the cemetery map!

The alchemist has also gotten a new recipes for haunted boosters to help you grind out those rewards.
